1. Overview & Commitment

Geass (“we”, “our”, or “the platform”) provides software utilities for Minecraft Fabric. We operate on a strict privacy-first principle: we collect only the minimum technical data necessary to deliver your digital software license and prevent automated abuse.

2. Data We Collect

  • Discord Account Identifier: When authenticating via Discord OAuth or verifying your username, we receive your public Discord ID (numerical snowflake) and username/tag. This links your purchase to your account.
  • Software License Data: We generate and store unique cryptographic license keys (e.g., GEASS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) associated with your selected plan (Monthly or Lifetime).
  • Hardware Hash (HWID): Upon in-game activation of the client, an irreversible cryptographic hash of your hardware components is submitted to bind your license to your designated computer. No personal files, serial numbers, or identifiable specs are stored.
  • IP Address & Rate-Limiting Records: Transient IP records are processed strictly for firewall rate limiting, brute-force defense, and anti-abuse verification.

3. Data We Never Collect

We never see, process, or store credit card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or bank account credentials. All fiat transactions are handled securely by Stripe. Cryptocurrency transactions are peer-to-peer on the public Litecoin blockchain.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use strictly necessary technical storage:

  • connect.sid: A secure HTTP session cookie used to keep you authenticated to your dashboard.
  • localStorage: Used exclusively on your device to remember user interface preferences, audio feedback toggles, and client license cache.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral profiling cookies.

5. Data Retention & User Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Your license and account binding records are maintained for the active duration of your subscription or lifetime entitlement. Under applicable privacy laws, you possess the right to:

  • Request a copy of the license and identification data associated with your account.
  • Request deletion and complete revocation of your account and associated telemetry data.
  • Request an HWID unbind or reset via your customer dashboard.

6. Security Measures

We enforce modern cryptographic standards, including HTTPS Strict Transport Security (HSTS), Content Security Policy (CSP), automated intrusion rate-limiting, and server-side secret isolation.
